Dog Vaccinations Brandon, FL
Puppies are very susceptible to disease at a young age and that is why it is vitally important to complete a series of canine vaccinations from your veterinarian until they reach 16-18 weeks of age.
We recommend initial vaccinations begin at 6-8 weeks of age and continue every 3-4 weeks until they reach 16 -18 weeks of age. A puppy will typically receive 4 sets of vaccines depending on what age the puppy began vaccination treatment.
Most adult vaccines need only be given annually with the exception of Bordetella (kennel cough), which should be given every 6 months.

A person who has never owned a dog has missed a wonderful part of life.”
We call them ‘Man’s Best Friend’ for a reason.
For hundreds of years, our canine companions have brought joy and laughter into the home – as well as protection for those that need it.
Many of us look at our dogs as members of the family and with that in mind we should make sure that they’re getting the proper medical and nutritional care they need to stay happy and healthy for years to come. At Care Animal Hospital, we’ve worked with thousands of dogs and puppies for more than 25 years to protect them against disease and protect them when they are sick.
